Development and validation of a disability risk prediction model in readmitted recurrent stroke patients.
Article in Frontiers in neurology, 2026. The graph could read no effect estimate from its abstract, so it casts no vote on the map. Not yet cited in PubMed.
What it found
Each row is one number read from the abstract, on the scale the paper reported it, with its interval. Left of the dashed line favours the treatment, right favours the comparator. Under each row is the sentence it came from. New to these charts? A ten-minute tutorial.
The abstract states no effect estimate the extractor could read, or names no intervention and outcome on the map, so this paper lights no cell and moves no belief. It is still indexed, cited and linked below.
The trial behind it
Trials whose registry record cites this paper, or whose number appears in the abstract. A trial that started after this paper was published is citing it as background, not reporting it.
Neither the registry nor the abstract names a trial number. If this is a trial report, that itself is worth knowing.

Abstract
Objective: To analyze the risk factors of disability in readmitted patients with recurrent stroke and construct a nomogram model, so as to provide references for clinical medical staff to formulate targeted intervention measures for stroke patients. Methods: From September 2023 to February 2025, a total of 415 readmitted patients with recurrent stroke were enrolled from the neurology departments of tertiary hospitals in Liaoning and Shanxi Provinces by convenience sampling method. Chi-square test and Results: The detection rate of disability among readmitted patients with recurrent stroke was 60%. Complicated hypertension, depressive symptoms, cognitive impairment (CI), occasional or no physical exercise were independent risk factors for disability ( Conclusion: The constructed nomogram model presents satisfactory predictive efficiency. It can assist clinical staff in screening disability risks, and carry out targeted intervention and rehabilitation management according to relevant risk factors, so as to reduce the incidence of disability in readmitted patients with recurrent stroke.
