Chemical Composition and Biological Activities of Geopropolis From Four Melipona Species From the Brazilian Atlantic Forest.
Article in Chemistry & biodiversity, 2026. The graph could read no effect estimate from its abstract, so it casts no vote on the map. Not yet cited in PubMed.
What it found
Each row is one number read from the abstract, on the scale the paper reported it, with its interval. Left of the dashed line favours the treatment, right favours the comparator. Under each row is the sentence it came from. New to these charts? A ten-minute tutorial.
The abstract states no effect estimate the extractor could read, or names no intervention and outcome on the map, so this paper lights no cell and moves no belief. It is still indexed, cited and linked below.
The trial behind it
Trials whose registry record cites this paper, or whose number appears in the abstract. A trial that started after this paper was published is citing it as background, not reporting it.
Neither the registry nor the abstract names a trial number. If this is a trial report, that itself is worth knowing.

Abstract
Geopropolis, a complex material produced by stingless bees from plant resins and soil components, represents a chemically diverse and underexplored source of natural products. This study investigated the chemical composition and biological activities of geopropolis from four Melipona species collected in the Brazilian Atlantic Forest during the dry and rainy seasons. Hydroalcoholic extracts were quantified for total phenolics, flavonoids, tannins, and characterized by electrospray ionization Fourier transform ion cyclotron resonance mass spectrometry (ESI(-)-FT-ICR MS), allowing the tentative assignment of 56 compounds, mainly phenolic acids, flavonoids, and terpenoids. Antioxidant activity was evaluated using DPPH and ABTS assays, anti-inflammatory activity by measuring nitric oxide, superoxide anion, and TNF-α production in LPS-stimulated macrophages, and antifungal activity against selected pathogenic strains. The extracts exhibited significant interspecific variation in phenolic composition and antioxidant activity (p < 0.05), with Melipona bicolor showing the highest antioxidant capacity, reflected by the lowest DPPH and ABTS IC
