Precision minimally invasive strategy for Hirschsprung's disease: from anatomical resection to whole-cycle functional management-a review.
Review in Frontiers in pediatrics, 2026. The graph could read no effect estimate from its abstract, so it casts no vote on the map. Not yet cited in PubMed.
What it found
Each row is one number read from the abstract, on the scale the paper reported it, with its interval. Left of the dashed line favours the treatment, right favours the comparator. Under each row is the sentence it came from. New to these charts? A ten-minute tutorial.
The abstract states no effect estimate the extractor could read, or names no intervention and outcome on the map, so this paper lights no cell and moves no belief. It is still indexed, cited and linked below.
The trial behind it
Trials whose registry record cites this paper, or whose number appears in the abstract. A trial that started after this paper was published is citing it as background, not reporting it.
Neither the registry nor the abstract names a trial number. If this is a trial report, that itself is worth knowing.

Abstract
Background: Minimally invasive radical surgery for Hirschsprung's disease (HD) has achieved substantial advances in anatomical accuracy and perioperative safety, yet postoperative defecation dysfunction remains a key factor limiting long-term quality of life in pediatric patients. Existing reviews seldom elaborate the integrated whole-cycle functional management paradigm. Objective: To summarize available study on precision minimally invasive strategies for HD and propose a whole-cycle functional management framework. Methods: This review summarizes information from major databases, including ScienceDirect, Google Scholar, Scopus, PubMed and Springer Link. Publications were selected without date restrictions and and used terms such as Hirschsprung's disease, minimally invasive surgery, defecation function, risk stratification, biofeedback training; non-English literature, conference abstracts without full text were excluded. Results and conclusions: In this review, we summarized current minimally invasive, precision therapeutic strategies for Hirschsprung disease. Additionally, we analysed the corresponding comprehensive care pathway, to highlight a paradigm shift-from isolated anatomical resection to holistic, function-oriented management across the entire disease trajectory.
