CYP4B1 inhibits lung adenocarcinoma metastasis by downregulating slug transcription via Sp1.
Article in Clinical & experimental metastasis, 2026. The graph could read no effect estimate from its abstract, so it casts no vote on the map. Not yet cited in PubMed.
What it found
Each row is one number read from the abstract, on the scale the paper reported it, with its interval. Left of the dashed line favours the treatment, right favours the comparator. Under each row is the sentence it came from. New to these charts? A ten-minute tutorial.
The abstract states no effect estimate the extractor could read, or names no intervention and outcome on the map, so this paper lights no cell and moves no belief. It is still indexed, cited and linked below.
The trial behind it
Trials whose registry record cites this paper, or whose number appears in the abstract. A trial that started after this paper was published is citing it as background, not reporting it.
Neither the registry nor the abstract names a trial number. If this is a trial report, that itself is worth knowing.

Abstract
Lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), the most prevalent subtype of non-small cell lung cancer, is characterized by strong metastatic potential and poor survival rates. Here, we identified CYP4B1 as a potential biomarker associated with LUAD progression. Through immunohistochemical analyses, we observed that CYP4B1 expression levels were significantly downregulated in tumors. Clinically, low CYP4B1 expression was correlated with shorter disease-free survival in LUAD patients, but not in those with lung squamous cell carcinoma. Functional experiments, including transwell and soft agar assays, demonstrated that CYP4B1 overexpression suppressed the migration and invasion capabilities of LUAD cells without influencing their proliferation, acting through Sp1-mediated Slug downregulation. These findings establish the CYP4B1/Slug axis as a LUAD-associated regulatory mechanism and highlight its potential as a therapeutic target, underscoring the importance of molecular stratification in precision oncology.
