Influence of perioperative nursing under the RCA-PDCA model on sleep and quality of life in patients undergoing gynecological surgery.
Article in Supportive care in cancer : official journal of the Multinational Association of Supportive Care in Cancer, 2026. The graph could read no effect estimate from its abstract, so it casts no vote on the map. Not yet cited in PubMed.
What it found
Each row is one number read from the abstract, on the scale the paper reported it, with its interval. Left of the dashed line favours the treatment, right favours the comparator. Under each row is the sentence it came from. New to these charts? A ten-minute tutorial.
The abstract states no effect estimate the extractor could read, or names no intervention and outcome on the map, so this paper lights no cell and moves no belief. It is still indexed, cited and linked below.
The trial behind it
Trials whose registry record cites this paper, or whose number appears in the abstract. A trial that started after this paper was published is citing it as background, not reporting it.
Neither the registry nor the abstract names a trial number. If this is a trial report, that itself is worth knowing.

Abstract
objectiveThis study focused on analyzing the influence of perioperative nursing under the RCA-PDCA model on sleep and quality of life in patients undergoing gynecological surgery.
methodsEighty patients who underwent gynecological laparoscopic surgery were divided into two groups according to different nursing methods, with 40 patients in each. The control group received routine perioperative care, while the observation group received nursing care based on the RCA-PDCA model. PRIMARY OUTCOME MEASURES: quality of life was assessed using the Quality of Life Questionnaire (QLQ-CX24), and sleep quality was compared between the two groups using the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI). Secondary outcome measures included perioperative indicators (intraoperative blood loss, operative duration, time to first ambulation, time to anal exhaust, length of hospital stay); postoperative pain intensity [assessed using the Numerical Rating Scale (NRS) at 2 h, 8 h, 24 h, and 48 h after anesthesia recovery]; postoperative complication rate; and nursing satisfaction.
resultsCompared with the control group, the observation group demonstrated higher QLQ-CX24 scores and lower PSQI scores at designated time points (all P < 0.05). Additionally, the observation group also showed reduced intraoperative blood loss, operative duration, time to first ambulation, time to bed rest duration, and length of hospital stay, as well as higher nursing satisfaction scores, lower NRS scores, and the incidence of surgical complications (all P < 0.05).
conclusionThe RCA-PDCA nursing model effectively improves sleep quality and quality of life in gynecological surgery patients, while promoting recovery and reducing postoperative complications.
