Differential expression of Musashi 2 in single and double corpus luteum of hybrid Mongolian sheep.
Article in BMC genomics, 2026. The graph could read no effect estimate from its abstract, so it casts no vote on the map. Not yet cited in PubMed.
What it found
Each row is one number read from the abstract, on the scale the paper reported it, with its interval. Left of the dashed line favours the treatment, right favours the comparator. Under each row is the sentence it came from. New to these charts? A ten-minute tutorial.
The abstract states no effect estimate the extractor could read, or names no intervention and outcome on the map, so this paper lights no cell and moves no belief. It is still indexed, cited and linked below.
The trial behind it
Trials whose registry record cites this paper, or whose number appears in the abstract. A trial that started after this paper was published is citing it as background, not reporting it.
Neither the registry nor the abstract names a trial number. If this is a trial report, that itself is worth knowing.

Abstract
backgroundThis study aimed to investigate the differential expression of Musashi 2 (MSI2) in the single and double corpus lutea of Mongolian sheep (Xing'an black sheep) and its role in multiparity.
resultsResults showed two synonymous SNPs identified in the exons of MSI2. MSI2 was co-localized with GDF9/BMP15 in follicles and corpus lutea. MSI2 expression was significantly higher in single corpus luteum, whereas GDF9/BMP15 expression was higher in double corpus luteum. Pearson's correlation analysis revealed significant negative correlations between mRNA and protein expression of MSI2 and GDF9, BMP15. The double corpus luteum group exhibited higher levels of P4, LH, E
conclusionsThis study preliminarily elucidates the expression pattern of MSI2 in the corpus luteum of Mongolian sheep. It provides a theoretical basis for exploring the molecular regulatory mechanism of prolificacy in Mongolian sheep, and also offers a potential target for improving the reproductive performance of Mongolian sheep via molecular breeding techniques.
