Dynamic changes in peripheral blood lymphocyte subsets predict the efficacy and prognosis of immune checkpoint inhibitors in metastatic osteosarcoma.
Article in Frontiers in immunology, 2026. The graph could read no effect estimate from its abstract, so it casts no vote on the map. Not yet cited in PubMed.
What it found
Each row is one number read from the abstract, on the scale the paper reported it, with its interval. Left of the dashed line favours the treatment, right favours the comparator. Under each row is the sentence it came from. New to these charts? A ten-minute tutorial.
The abstract states no effect estimate the extractor could read, or names no intervention and outcome on the map, so this paper lights no cell and moves no belief. It is still indexed, cited and linked below.
The trial behind it
Trials whose registry record cites this paper, or whose number appears in the abstract. A trial that started after this paper was published is citing it as background, not reporting it.
Neither the registry nor the abstract names a trial number. If this is a trial report, that itself is worth knowing.

Abstract
Background: Osteosarcoma (OSA) remains the most common primary malignant bone tumor in children and adolescents, with a poor prognosis for metastatic disease. While immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) have revolutionized cancer treatment, their efficacy in metastatic OSA is limited and highly variable, lacking clear predictive biomarkers. Peripheral blood lymphocyte subsets, reflecting systemic immune status, show promise as non-invasive predictors of ICIs efficacy and patient prognosis, yet their dynamic changes and predictive value in metastatic OSA are largely unexplored. Methods: This single-center, retrospective study included 14 metastatic OSA patients receiving ICIs. Peripheral blood lymphocyte subsets (CD3 Results: Univariate Cox regression identified pre-ICIs CD8 Conclusion: This study provides the first systematic analysis of dynamic changes in peripheral blood lymphocyte subsets in metastatic OSA patients undergoing ICIs. Our findings suggest that elevated proportions and dynamic increases of peripheral blood CD3
