ArticleBMC genomics2026
A centralized interactive tool for genomic data on heat shock protein 90 in Fagaceae species.
Article in BMC genomics, 2026. The graph could read no effect estimate from its abstract, so it casts no vote on the map. Not yet cited in PubMed.
What it found
Each row is one number read from the abstract, on the scale the paper reported it, with its interval. Left of the dashed line favours the treatment, right favours the comparator. Under each row is the sentence it came from. New to these charts? A ten-minute tutorial.
The abstract states no effect estimate the extractor could read, or names no intervention and outcome on the map, so this paper lights no cell and moves no belief. It is still indexed, cited and linked below.
The trial behind it
Trials whose registry record cites this paper, or whose number appears in the abstract. A trial that started after this paper was published is citing it as background, not reporting it.
Neither the registry nor the abstract names a trial number. If this is a trial report, that itself is worth knowing.

Abstract
backgroundThe Fagaceae family includes key forestry species in temperate and Mediterranean ecosystems, many of which are increasingly impacted by drought stress and high temperatures, exacerbated by climate change. HSP90 proteins play a crucial role in response to that kind of stress, but genomic information related to these proteins in Fagaceae species are scattered in diverse databases, making integrated analysis challenging.
resultsWe present HSP90-Fagaceae, an interactive web application built with the Shiny package in R that centralizes curated HSP90-related genomic, structural, and phylogenetic data across major Fagaceae species. Accessible online, the application provides users with an intuitive platform to explore and compare HSP90 protein sequences, annotations, and evolutionary relationships within a gene family-specific framework.
conclusionsThe HSP90-Fagaceae app integrates previously fragmented genomic data into a single, interactive, open-source resource that supports structural and evolutionary analyses of the HSP90 gene family across different Fagaceae species. Its modular design also offers a flexible framework that can be adapted to develop similar applications for other protein families or species of agricultural and forestry interest.
