Combined diagnostic value of rheumatoid arthritis-specific citrullinated protein, haemoglobin-to-red cell distribution width ratio, and anti-CCP antibody in rheumatoid arthritis.
Article in Annals of medicine, 2026. The graph could read no effect estimate from its abstract, so it casts no vote on the map. Not yet cited in PubMed.
What it found
Each row is one number read from the abstract, on the scale the paper reported it, with its interval. Left of the dashed line favours the treatment, right favours the comparator. Under each row is the sentence it came from. New to these charts? A ten-minute tutorial.
The abstract states no effect estimate the extractor could read, or names no intervention and outcome on the map, so this paper lights no cell and moves no belief. It is still indexed, cited and linked below.
The trial behind it
Trials whose registry record cites this paper, or whose number appears in the abstract. A trial that started after this paper was published is citing it as background, not reporting it.
Neither the registry nor the abstract names a trial number. If this is a trial report, that itself is worth knowing.

Abstract
objectiveTo explore the clinical significance of new haematological indicators, including rheumatoid arthritis-specific citrullinated protein (RA-CP), haemoglobin-to-red cell distribution width ratio (HRR), and mean platelet volume/platelet count (MPV/PC) ratio, in rheumatoid arthritis (RA). This study is the first to evaluate the combined diagnostic utility of RA-CP and HRR in RA.
methodsData from 700 subjects, including RA patients, patients with other autoimmune diseases, and healthy controls, were retrospectively analyzed. The relationships between these indicators and the risk of RA were assessed using logistic regression, correlation, and receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analyses.
resultsThere were significant differences in RA-CP, HRR, and MPV/PC among the three groups (
conclusionRA-CP and HRR were identified as independent predictors of RA, including RA-CP as a risk factor for RA and HRR as a protective factor for RA. Combined detection of RA-CP, HRR, and anti-CCP antibody could enhance the accuracy and sensitivity of laboratory diagnosis. Although MPV/PC did not demonstrate significant independent predictive value in this study, this represents the first exploration of its potential clinical role in RA.
