Expression and prognostic importance of lymphocyte activation gene 3 and CD73 in advanced or metastatic hepatocellular carcinoma.
Article in The Journal of international medical research, 2026. The graph could read no effect estimate from its abstract, so it casts no vote on the map. Not yet cited in PubMed.
What it found
Each row is one number read from the abstract, on the scale the paper reported it, with its interval. Left of the dashed line favours the treatment, right favours the comparator. Under each row is the sentence it came from. New to these charts? A ten-minute tutorial.
The abstract states no effect estimate the extractor could read, or names no intervention and outcome on the map, so this paper lights no cell and moves no belief. It is still indexed, cited and linked below.
The trial behind it
Trials whose registry record cites this paper, or whose number appears in the abstract. A trial that started after this paper was published is citing it as background, not reporting it.
Neither the registry nor the abstract names a trial number. If this is a trial report, that itself is worth knowing.

Abstract
ObjectiveIn this study, we aimed to investigate the prognostic significance of the expression of lymphocyte activation gene 3 and CD73 in advanced or metastatic hepatocellular carcinoma as well as its predictive effect on disease control rates in patients receiving sorafenib.MethodsData from 79 patients diagnosed with hepatocellular carcinoma in 3 different oncology centers between 2012 and 2021 were analyzed. Of these patients, 67 were included in this study based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The correlation between the expression of lymphocyte activation gene 3 and CD73 and clinical features was analyzed.ResultsOf the 67 patients included in the study, 80.6% were males, and the median age at diagnosis was 65 (55-73) years. A baseline alpha-fetoprotein level of <400 ng/mL and the presence of lymphocyte activation gene 3 expression were correlated with better survival (
