Abstract

Coyaima is a town in the department of Tolima, Colombia, that was prioritized in a pilot program under Colombia's National Plan for the Control of the Taeniasis/Cysticercosis Complex, focusing on this neglected health issue. The project engaged local indigenous communities, promoting education and outreach within the One Health framework.
