1 · What the graph read from it

What it found

Each row is one number read from the abstract, on the scale the paper reported it, with its interval. Left of the dashed line favours the treatment, right favours the comparator. Under each row is the sentence it came from. New to these charts? A ten-minute tutorial.

The abstract states no effect estimate the extractor could read, or names no intervention and outcome on the map, so this paper lights no cell and moves no belief. It is still indexed, cited and linked below.

2 · The registry

The trial behind it

Trials whose registry record cites this paper, or whose number appears in the abstract. A trial that started after this paper was published is citing it as background, not reporting it.

Neither the registry nor the abstract names a trial number. If this is a trial report, that itself is worth knowing.

Abstract

Background: Although our prior clinical study demonstrated the efficacy of Zuoqing granules (ZQGs) in treating ulcerative colitis (UC), the underlying immunomodulatory mechanisms remained unclear. This study systematically investigated ZQG's therapeutic effects through macrophage polarization modulation and related signaling pathways using both Methods: Results: ZQG treatment dose-dependently (1) ameliorated colonic mucosal damage, reducing histological scores by 52% compared to that in the model group, (2) modulated macrophage polarization by increasing the M2 phenotype (CD206 Conclusion: ZQG ameliorates UC by modulating macrophage plasticity through the PPAR-γ/NF-κB/STAT1 axis, a mechanism validated
