1 · What the graph read from it

What it found

Each row is one number read from the abstract, on the scale the paper reported it, with its interval. Left of the dashed line favours the treatment, right favours the comparator. Under each row is the sentence it came from. New to these charts? A ten-minute tutorial.

The abstract states no effect estimate the extractor could read, or names no intervention and outcome on the map, so this paper lights no cell and moves no belief. It is still indexed, cited and linked below.

2 · The registry

The trial behind it

Trials whose registry record cites this paper, or whose number appears in the abstract. A trial that started after this paper was published is citing it as background, not reporting it.

Neither the registry nor the abstract names a trial number. If this is a trial report, that itself is worth knowing.

Abstract

Mycotoxins-harmful compounds produced by various fungi, particularly in agricultural products-pose serious threats to food safety and to the health of both humans and livestock. These toxins can cause liver and kidney damage and may even be carcinogenic. Therefore, it is essential to mitigate their harmful effects through practical and cost-effective methods. In this study, we investigated the effectiveness of a mycotoxin binder composed of organic and inorganic materials with varying formulations for the removal of aflatoxins, ochratoxin, zearalenone, and deoxynivalenol under simulated gastric and intestinal conditions. Among the tested formulations, the mixture containing bentonite, humic acid, and beta-glucan-mannan in a 70:10:20 ratio showed the highest overall adsorption efficiency. This optimized formulation resulted in a statistically significant improvement in toxin removal (P < 0.05), achieving removal rates of 98.07% for aflatoxin B
