1 · What the graph read from it

What it found

Each row is one number read from the abstract, on the scale the paper reported it, with its interval. Left of the dashed line favours the treatment, right favours the comparator. Under each row is the sentence it came from. New to these charts? A ten-minute tutorial.

The abstract states no effect estimate the extractor could read, or names no intervention and outcome on the map, so this paper lights no cell and moves no belief. It is still indexed, cited and linked below.

2 · The registry

The trial behind it

Trials whose registry record cites this paper, or whose number appears in the abstract. A trial that started after this paper was published is citing it as background, not reporting it.

Neither the registry nor the abstract names a trial number. If this is a trial report, that itself is worth knowing.

Abstract

Cancer encompasses a group of diseases characterized by uncontrolled cell growth and the ability to invade or spread to other parts of the body. It is considered a major public health issue, being the second leading cause of death worldwide. A crucial signaling pathway altered in many cancers is the Mitogen- Activated Protein Kinase (MAPK) pathway, which is associated with the regulation of cell proliferation, differentiation, and survival, playing a central role in the development and maintenance of malignant tumors. Natural products have made significant contributions to pharmacotherapy, particularly in the field of cancer treatment. The Euphorbiaceae family, comprising approximately 300 genera and over 5,000 species, is known for its rich diversity of bioactive compounds.
