Meanings of hope constructed by users of mental health services during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Article in Revista da Escola de Enfermagem da U S P, 2025. The graph could read no effect estimate from its abstract, so it casts no vote on the map. Not yet cited in PubMed.
What it found
Each row is one number read from the abstract, on the scale the paper reported it, with its interval. Left of the dashed line favours the treatment, right favours the comparator. Under each row is the sentence it came from. New to these charts? A ten-minute tutorial.
The abstract states no effect estimate the extractor could read, or names no intervention and outcome on the map, so this paper lights no cell and moves no belief. It is still indexed, cited and linked below.
The trial behind it
Trials whose registry record cites this paper, or whose number appears in the abstract. A trial that started after this paper was published is citing it as background, not reporting it.
Neither the registry nor the abstract names a trial number. If this is a trial report, that itself is worth knowing.

Abstract
objectiveTo analyze the production of meanings of hope in the discourses of specialized mental health services users in an inland city of Minas Gerais in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.
methodQualitative study based on the theoretical-methodological framework of French Discourse Analysis and the theoretical construct of hope. Semi-structured interviews were conducted from August 2022 to May 2023.
resultsThe discursive block entitled "The meanings of Hope constructed in the COVID-19 Pandemic" addresses the meanings constructed about hope that are permeated by the effects arising from discursive memories. The discursive excerpts enunciate signs of religious/spirituality discourse; solidarity discourse; disease model; and resilience discourse.
conclusionPre-constructed discourses elsewhere on spirituality/religiosity, solidarity, disease model and resilience permeate the production of meanings of hope in the discourses of mental health services users. It is important to enable nurses to grasp the constructed meanings of hope and to recognize them as a therapeutic resource that constitutes care.
