Abstract

Background: Epilepsy is a well-established and extensively studied condition in both human and veterinary medicine. Case Description: A 4-year-old captive, intact male ring-tailed lemur (Lemur catta) presented with a 2-year history of recurrent seizures. History of disease, clinical and neurological examination, blood and immunological examination for Conclusion: This case describes the diagnostic approach and management of seizures in ring-tailed lemur, a species, that has not been described before.
