Esketamine alleviated cardiomyocyte ferroptosis induced by oxygen-glucose deprivation/reoxygenation (OGD/R) via cyclic GMP-AMP synthase interactor.
Article in Cytotechnology, 2025. The graph could read no effect estimate from its abstract, so it casts no vote on the map. Cited by 8 papers.
What it found
Each row is one number read from the abstract, on the scale the paper reported it, with its interval. Left of the dashed line favours the treatment, right favours the comparator. Under each row is the sentence it came from. New to these charts? A ten-minute tutorial.
The abstract states no effect estimate the extractor could read, or names no intervention and outcome on the map, so this paper lights no cell and moves no belief. It is still indexed, cited and linked below.
The trial behind it
Trials whose registry record cites this paper, or whose number appears in the abstract. A trial that started after this paper was published is citing it as background, not reporting it.
Neither the registry nor the abstract names a trial number. If this is a trial report, that itself is worth knowing.

Abstract
Background: The use of tourniquets (TQ) during the total knee arthroplasty (TKA) induced ischemia-reperfusion (I/R) injury in the limb, resulting in the release of inflammatory cytokines and reactive oxygen species (ROS), therefore leading to myocardial damage. This study aimed to investigate the effects and molecular mechanism of Esketamine on myocardial injury (MI) caused by TQ-induced I/R injury. Methods: A randomized numerical table method was used to divide 23 patients into the C group (11 cases, ACB + conventional anesthesia) and M group (12 cases, ACB + conventional anesthesia + 0.5 mg/kg Esketamine). The levels of lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), Malondialdehyde (MDA), Fe Results: Compared with the C group, the levels of GSH-Px and GSH were increased while the levels of IL-6, TNF-α, MDA, Fe Conclusion: Esketamine alleviated cardiomyocyte ferroptosis via STING, which might be the molecular mechanism of Esketamine to ameliorate the MI caused by TQ-induced I/R injury.
