Effects of Guanidine Acetic Acid on the Growth and Slaughter Performance, Meat Quality, Antioxidant Capacity, and Cecal Microbiota of Broiler Chickens.
Article in Veterinary sciences, 2024. The graph could read no effect estimate from its abstract, so it casts no vote on the map. Cited by 5 papers, 1 of them a synthesis that pooled it.
What it found
Each row is one number read from the abstract, on the scale the paper reported it, with its interval. Left of the dashed line favours the treatment, right favours the comparator. Under each row is the sentence it came from. New to these charts? A ten-minute tutorial.
The abstract states no effect estimate the extractor could read, or names no intervention and outcome on the map, so this paper lights no cell and moves no belief. It is still indexed, cited and linked below.
The trial behind it
Trials whose registry record cites this paper, or whose number appears in the abstract. A trial that started after this paper was published is citing it as background, not reporting it.
Neither the registry nor the abstract names a trial number. If this is a trial report, that itself is worth knowing.

Abstract
The objective of this research was to assess the impact of guanidine acetic acid (GAA) on the growth performance, slaughter outcomes, meat quality, antioxidant capacity, and cecal microbiota of broiler chickens. A total of 128 Arbor Acres broilers were randomly divided into two experimental groups. One group served as the control and was provided with a standard diet, whereas the group treated with GAA received a diet enhanced with 400 mg/kg of GAA. The duration of the experiment was 42 days. Measurements for growth performance, serum biochemical parameters, and antioxidant capacity were conducted both during and at the conclusion of the study, while assessments of slaughter performance and meat quality were carried out solely at the end. Notable differences were observed in terms of growth performance, blood biochemistry, and metabolic parameters between the control and GAA-treated groups (
