Construction and validation of a novel nomogram for predicting spontaneous preterm birth in patients with gestational diabetes mellitus.
Article in American journal of translational research, 2024. The graph could read no effect estimate from its abstract, so it casts no vote on the map. Cited by 1 paper.
What it found
Each row is one number read from the abstract, on the scale the paper reported it, with its interval. Left of the dashed line favours the treatment, right favours the comparator. Under each row is the sentence it came from. New to these charts? A ten-minute tutorial.
The abstract states no effect estimate the extractor could read, or names no intervention and outcome on the map, so this paper lights no cell and moves no belief. It is still indexed, cited and linked below.
The trial behind it
Trials whose registry record cites this paper, or whose number appears in the abstract. A trial that started after this paper was published is citing it as background, not reporting it.
Neither the registry nor the abstract names a trial number. If this is a trial report, that itself is worth knowing.

Abstract
objectiveTo explore the influencing factors of spontaneous preterm birth (sPTB) in patients with gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) and construct a nomogram model.
methodsA retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data of 289 GDM patients who gave birth at Yangzhou University Affiliated Hospital from January 2021 to December 2022. The patients were divided into the sPTB (n = 52) and non-sPTB (n = 237) groups based on whether sPTB occurred. Logistic multivariate analysis was used to explore the influencing factors of sPTB in GDM patients and construct a nomogram model. The predictive performance of the nomogram model was evaluated using ROC curves and calibration curves in internal validation. Additionally, 62 GDM patients who visited Yangzhou University Affiliated Hospital from January 2023 to June 2023 were retrospectively selected for external validation of the prediction model.
resultsLogistic analysis showed that maternal age ≥30 years, pre-pregnancy BMI ≥26.3 kg/m
conclusionMaternal age ≥30 years, pre-pregnancy BMI ≥26.3 kg/m
