Inflammatory factors are associated with prognosis of non-small cell lung cancer patients receiving immunotherapy: a meta-analysis.
Synthesis in Scientific reports, 2024. The graph could read no effect estimate from its abstract, so it casts no vote on the map. Cited by 13 papers, 1 of them a synthesis that pooled it.
What it found
Each row is one number read from the abstract, on the scale the paper reported it, with its interval. Left of the dashed line favours the treatment, right favours the comparator. Under each row is the sentence it came from. New to these charts? A ten-minute tutorial.
The abstract states no effect estimate the extractor could read, or names no intervention and outcome on the map, so this paper lights no cell and moves no belief. It is still indexed, cited and linked below.
The trial behind it
Trials whose registry record cites this paper, or whose number appears in the abstract. A trial that started after this paper was published is citing it as background, not reporting it.
Neither the registry nor the abstract names a trial number. If this is a trial report, that itself is worth knowing.

Abstract
This study aimed to explore the association between inflammation-based prognostic markers and outcomes in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients undergoing therapy with immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs). We conducted a comprehensive search of the Embase, PubMed, and Cochrane databases for studies that reported on the impact of inflammation-based prognostic factors, such as C-reactive protein (CRP), on the prognosis of NSCLC patients treated with ICIs. The primary outcomes of interest were overall survival (OS) and progression-free survival (PFS). Statistical analyses were performed using Stata 14 software, with assessments of publication bias and heterogeneity conducted as necessary. Our meta-analysis included 27 studies encompassing 5,174 patients, evaluating factors such as CRP, the modified Glasgow Prognostic Score (mGPS), and the CRP-albumin ratio (CAR). The analysis revealed that elevated levels of CRP were significantly correlated with both reduced PFS (I
