A signature of five 7-methylguanosine-related genes is a prognostic marker for lung squamous cell carcinoma.
Article in Journal of thoracic disease, 2023. The graph could read no effect estimate from its abstract, so it casts no vote on the map. Cited by 5 papers.
What it found
Each row is one number read from the abstract, on the scale the paper reported it, with its interval. Left of the dashed line favours the treatment, right favours the comparator. Under each row is the sentence it came from. New to these charts? A ten-minute tutorial.
The abstract states no effect estimate the extractor could read, or names no intervention and outcome on the map, so this paper lights no cell and moves no belief. It is still indexed, cited and linked below.
The trial behind it
Trials whose registry record cites this paper, or whose number appears in the abstract. A trial that started after this paper was published is citing it as background, not reporting it.
Neither the registry nor the abstract names a trial number. If this is a trial report, that itself is worth knowing.

Abstract
Background: N Methods: Twenty-nine m7G-related genes were selected for the analysis in the LSCC cohort of the Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA). Univariate, multivariate, and Kaplan-Meier analyses were used to evaluate the predictive value of risk model developed with m7G signature for overall survival (OS).. The Gene Ontology (GO) and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) pathway enrichment analyses of differentially expressed genes (DEGs) were performed for high- and low-risk LSCC groups. Results: We identified 17 differentially expressed m7G methylation-related genes in LSCC versus normal tissues. The expression of five m7G-related genes ( Conclusions: We developed a novel m7G-related gene signature that can be of great utility to predict the prognosis for patients with LSCC.
