Thermographic of the Microcirculation in Healthy Children Aged 3-10 Months as an Objective and Noninvasive Method of Assessment.
Article in International journal of environmental research and public health, 2022. The graph could read no effect estimate from its abstract, so it casts no vote on the map. Cited by 2 papers, 1 of them a synthesis that pooled it.
What it found
Each row is one number read from the abstract, on the scale the paper reported it, with its interval. Left of the dashed line favours the treatment, right favours the comparator. Under each row is the sentence it came from. New to these charts? A ten-minute tutorial.
The abstract states no effect estimate the extractor could read, or names no intervention and outcome on the map, so this paper lights no cell and moves no belief. It is still indexed, cited and linked below.
The trial behind it
Trials whose registry record cites this paper, or whose number appears in the abstract. A trial that started after this paper was published is citing it as background, not reporting it.
Neither the registry nor the abstract names a trial number. If this is a trial report, that itself is worth knowing.
Who cites it
2 citing papers in PubMed, 1 synthesis or guideline pooled it, 3 citations in OpenAlex.

Abstract
backgroundThe aim of this study was to assess if thermography as an objective and non-invasive research tool is capable of identifying the changes in the surface temperature of the body as a response to muscle stimulation in Vojta therapy. The research group consisted of children aged 3-10 months with slight abnormalities of the motor pattern, subjected to individually selected stimulation elements according to Vojta.
methodsThe Vojta method of spontaneous motor assessment and the thermovision method of assessing the microcirculation properties of muscles were used for the evaluation.
resultsIn the study group, changes in the microcirculation parameters of the extensor muscles of the back occurred immediately after the therapy at the first examination.
conclusionsThe analysis featuring an objective assessment allows physiotherapists to diagnose local temperature changes based on the effect of microcirculation parameters in the musculofascial structures.
trial registrationThe research was conducted as a pilot study for a scientific project approved by the Commission for Scientific Research of the University of Health and Sport Sciences in Wroclaw No 24/2021. The study is currently in the registration process with the Australian New Zealand Clinical Trials Registry.
