Trial reportIndian journal of ophthalmology2022
A prospective, randomized, parallel group, double blind, multicenter study to compare the efficacy, safety and immunogenicity of Lupin's Ranibizumab with Lucentis
Trial report in Indian journal of ophthalmology, 2022. The graph could read no effect estimate from its abstract, so it casts no vote on the map. Cited by 14 papers, 4 of them syntheses that pooled it.
What it found
Each row is one number read from the abstract, on the scale the paper reported it, with its interval. Left of the dashed line favours the treatment, right favours the comparator. Under each row is the sentence it came from. New to these charts? A ten-minute tutorial.
The abstract states no effect estimate the extractor could read, or names no intervention and outcome on the map, so this paper lights no cell and moves no belief. It is still indexed, cited and linked below.
The trial behind it
Trials whose registry record cites this paper, or whose number appears in the abstract. A trial that started after this paper was published is citing it as background, not reporting it.
Neither the registry nor the abstract names a trial number. If this is a trial report, that itself is worth knowing.

14 citing papers in PubMed, 4 syntheses or guidelines pooled it, 20 citations in OpenAlex.

Abstract
Purpose: The present study compares the efficacy, safety, and immunogenicity of Lupin's biosimilar ranibizumab with that of Lucentis Methods: This prospective, double-blind, multi-centric phase-III study was conducted across 19 centers in India. A total of 202 patients with neovascular age-related macular degeneration were randomized (1:1) to receive either Lupin's biosimilar ranibizumab or Lucentis Results: Overall, 174 patients (87 [86.14%] in each group) completed the study. The demographics and baseline characteristics were comparable between the treatment groups. The proportion of patients losing fewer than 15 letters from baseline best corrected visual acuity score in the study eye was comparable between two groups. The difference between Lupin's ranibizumab and Lucentis Conclusion: Lupin's biosimilar ranibizumab demonstrated therapeutic equivalence, desirable safety, and favorable immunogenicity profile compared to Lucentis
